Book Launch ‘An Ordinary Epidemic’ by Amanda Hickie, Fri 8 May, 6.30pm, SAWC

Amanda Hickie has written an extraordinary book. In An Ordinary Epidemic she layers ethical dilemma upon ethical dilemma as she pushes her characters deeper into a highly contagious and deadly disease epidemic in contemporary Sydney.

It’s topical, timely and terrifying.

Join me and the MidnightSun Publishing team as we launch Amanda Hickie’s fabulous novel on Friday 8th May, 6.30pm at the South Australian Writer’s Centre, Second Floor, 187 Rundle St, Adelaide.

There will be excellent wine, nibbles and lots of lovely bookish company. There might even be dancing!

“A bravely told story of one woman’s courage despite terrible odds.” Nancy Freund, author of Rapeseed.

This is one of my favourite quotes from Breaking Beauty. I hope you like it too. It’s from Melanie Kinsman’s divine, heartbreaking story ‘A Paper Woman’.

If you haven’t already, please RSVP to Anna for the launch on the 7th November. We are nearly at capacity.
